Soil moisture sensor / hygrometer module V1.2 capacitive

The  AZDelivery Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor Hygrometer Module V1.2  is the successor model to the soil moisture sensor module (hygrometer).

In contrast to the normal module, this sensor does not have an adjustable switching contact; it works  analogue  and thus displays the  exact moisture values ​​in real time  . Since the sensor works capacitively, this sensor does not contaminate the substrate even after a long period of use. This also results in a high level of durability.

• With the integrated amplifier, the hygrometer can be connected directly to an analog input of a microcontroller.
• The probe is placed in the soil and measures the moisture capacity of the soil.
• Easy way to measure the moisture of your plants and detect when the plant needs to be watered.

Please note that the sensor must definitely be isolated. Either through liquid silicone or a thin layer of synthetic resin! 

The measuring module itself is covered with protective varnish, the solder contacts are not.
